Delete your account and data
This page explains how to delete your Posturato account and the data tied to it, what gets removed, what we keep, and for how long. It applies to the Posturato app on iPhone and Android.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Posturato.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm when prompted.
This permanently removes your account and starts deletion of your associated data across our systems.
Delete by email
If you can no longer open the app, email [email protected] from the address tied to your account and ask us to delete it. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identifier (Google or Apple).
- Your onboarding answers.
- Your posture scores and scan metrics.
- Your routine completion history and streak.
Your scan photos are never uploaded. They stay only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
What is kept, and for how long
- Deletion is completed across our systems and subprocessors within 30 days of your request.
- We may retain a minimal record of billing and transactions where a legal, tax, or accounting obligation requires it. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never store your card details.
- Subscription status held by our billing provider (RevenueCat) is removed as part of the same request.
Delete some data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your whole account. To remove or reset specific data (for example, your onboarding answers or your scan history) while keeping your account, email [email protected] and tell us what to delete. You can also re-enter your onboarding answers in the app to overwrite them. We complete data deletion requests within 30 days.
