Is this medical advice?: No. Posturato is a posture-awareness and coaching app for general wellness. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, or screen for any condition. If you have pain, see a clinician.
Where do my photos go?: Nowhere. Pose detection runs on your iPhone using Apple’s Vision framework. Your scan photos stay on the device. No upload, no cloud backup.
What does “private AI” mean?: Two layers of AI, both on your iPhone. Apple’s Vision framework finds the body landmarks in your photo. Apple Intelligence (iOS 26’s on-device language model) writes the short explanation of your score in plain English. Neither talks to a server, neither talks to OpenAI or Anthropic, neither sees your image, your metrics, or your account. It’s a deliberate architectural choice — most posture apps send your data to a cloud LLM.
What does it cost?: $9.99/week or $49.99/year (under $1/week), with a 3-day free trial. Cancel anytime in your App Store settings — Posturato never sees your card.
Why iPhone only?: Apple Vision pose detection is significantly faster on-device than the cross-platform alternatives, and we use SwiftUI features that don’t exist on Android. We’ll revisit Android once we’re profitable on iOS.
